I am in LOVE with a new little bundle of joy that came in to visit me yesterday at just 6 days old.  His momma & daddy just made an appearance on the blogsite a little while back – Katie & Beau’s {expecting session}.

Well, Carter wasn’t too happy when we first began!!  He let us know so too!!  {{I LOVE HIS LITTLE CRY}}But when he didn’t want to stop crying, momma decided to feed him a little bit more.  Well that made him so happy!!! He drifted right off to sleep & stayed that way for a while, even with me repositioning him in the bean bag!!I get lots of inquiries on when is the best time to take newborn portraits.  If you want the squishy, bendy newborn portraits, I recommend calling me before you leave the hospital for an appointment ASAP – the earlier the better!!!  I am able to accomodate / squeeze in newborns pretty quickly.  I prefer to do the sessions before the cord falls off since it just shows the “newness” of the sweet baby!!I know you want to introduce your new baby to all your friends & family, so we offer custom birth announcements.  These can be double or single sided; regular portrait paper or press printed. What a beautiful keepsake this will be for the baby book.

As a mother myself, I remember the days of early parenthood.  I know how stressful it can be, and not wanting to feel rushed.  That is why I schedule newborn sessions every 2  1/2 hours.  And with my studio being in my home, if you need to nurse – no worries, I will step out to give you privacy.  I’d love to meet your new, sweet bundle of joy!
