David St. Romain played in Hammond a little while back, and I was asked by a good friend to come take some photos of his performance. He was AMAZING!!! Can’t wait to go see him again. A couple months ago, I had the chance to be introduced to a new, up & coming music artist: CJ Solar. He was opening for David St. Romain, and I absolutely LOVED hearing him sing. He is a local boy from Baton Rouge, but just made the move to Nashville. I think he’s gonna do great. When he hits it big, I can say “I photographed him back when…..”.

I’ve been a little lax in getting weddings up on the the blogsite, so today hopefully will make up for it.

Brittney & Mike were married in a beautiful ceremony at The Elms Mansion on St. Charles Street a couple of months ago. We started out meeting the bride at their French Quarter hotel to get some getting ready shots. We arrived just as Joaen with Get Polished was putting on the finishing touches.

Then it was on to the ceremony / reception location to get ready for their big moment!! It was my first time photographing at The Elms Mansion, and I was IMPRESSED!! Their attention to detail, and service to the guests was INCREDIBLE.

It was nice to see one of our local judges there to perform the ceremony.

this next image brings me to the verge of tears, when I think in about 10 years this could be me & my own baby boy!!!

I love a military wedding . . .

I’ve been photographing these gorgeous kiddo’s for a few years now, ever since their mom’s wedding. I tell ya, they look like they could be right off the pages of the latest child magazine. Kuddo’s to their sweet momma!!

It doesn’t have to be a special occasion for a portrait session. Anytime is a good time . . . I love that these kiddos come see me very just because!! Thanks for being AWESOME clients & even better friends!!

This week I had two sweet babies come see this week for their one year old portraits. Cooper has grown into such a handsome one year old!! I love photographing him!!! He is full of personality, and energy . . . he was running momma & daddy in circles that day! Not to mention me – LOL!

Ahhh, babies are so much fun to photograph!! Especially when they are as cute as this little sweetie!! I remember when mom brought her to see me back in November of 2009 for the first time. She’s grown so much since then, but still cute as a button. Happy 1st Birthday, sweet girl!! Momma needs to let us get together more often!!
